


I grew up as an athlete. Basketball was my life, and I never had to think twice about what I ate. In college everything shifted. An autoimmune diagnosis forced me to quit the sport I loved, and within a year I had gained 30 to 40 pounds. I did not recognize the person in the mirror, and I did not like how I felt.
Like so many women, I tried to “fix” it by cutting calories, working out constantly, and chasing every new diet trend. I was overtraining and under nourishing, shrinking my body but not strengthening it. I stayed stuck on that hamster wheel for years.
Fast forward a decade. I was married, raising three kids, and teaching 2nd grade. Some days I felt great, but others I found myself stress-eating cookies in bed, wondering, What happened to me?
Then came the breaking point. I fractured my hip from overtraining and had to teach 2nd grade from a wheelchair. That injury forced me to slow down, and for the first time I started working with my body instead of against it. I reset my mindset, broke free from diet culture, and invested in learning everything I could about lasting health. I earned my Master’s in Nutrition, became a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, and developed a new approach to wellness.
That is how the Fit & Fueled Blueprint was born. It is designed to help women lose weight and feel amazing without sacrificing their favorite foods, their social life, or their sanity.
